Auos Egbaria

Auos Egbaria, a socio-economic entrepreneur in the field of employment and education. He is the founder and CEO of Values Social Entrepreneurship, which, among other things, promotes employment for underprivileged populations by creating projects and facilitating direct employment. Previously, he worked in the field of advancing science and technology for Arab schoolchildren. He holds a B.A. in business administration from Ruppin College and lives in Umm al-Fahm.

Ella Deri

Ella Deri, a program manager at Aluma – giving teens and young adults opportunities for meaningful service, higher education, and employment. She is currently leading the Council for Higher Education’s program to make academic studies accessible to graduates of the Haredi education system and to support the students on their way to success. The programs she managed in the past included an initiative to assist students from the periphery to enter STEM professions and Israel’s first Social Impact Bonds program, dedicated to reducing the dropout rate from higher education. She holds a B.A. in political science and human resource management from Bar Ilan University and an M.A. in management and public policy from Ben Gurion University, and graduated from the nonprofit sector directors’ course at the Interdisciplinary Center Herzliya. Ella is married and the mother for four sons. She grew up and still lives in Moshav Bnei Darom, a religious and agricultural cooperative community.

Ephraim Rosenstein

Ephraim Rosenstein, the director of the ultra-Orthodox community at Leumit Health Services, where he coordinates everything from strategy to visibility, branding and service for the community. Ephraim also volunteers as a paramedic in the United Hatzalah health organization and as a volunteer coordinator for the Connected to Life project of Ezer Mizion, which transports patients to medical treatments. Ephraim previously worked for a dialogue organization that deals with the ultra-Orthodox and the secular sectors in Israel. Ephraim is currently establishing the Lev Ayala organization named after his daughter Ayala, who died of leukemia. The organization will support and accompany patients in the hospital and in dealing with health funds and the medical system in general. He holds a B.A. in political science from the Open University and an M.A. in health systems management form Bar Ilan University. He lives in Elad, is married, and is the father of 7 children.

Efrat Atun

Efrat Atun, the CEO of SafeHeart – Supporting platform for the survivors of the music festivals in Southern Israel. reviously she served as the director of partnerships and strategy at the Jerusalem Municipality’s Youth Authority; and worked as a lawyer in the private sector and specialized in the municipal and commercial fields. Efrat is one of the founders and a board member of 0202 – Points of View from Jerusalem, an organization that provides a glimpse into the reality of Jerusalem as experienced by its various residents. She is also one of the founders of Out for Change, an organization that helps the individuals who left the ultra-Orthodox society to integrate into the general population and to safeguard their rights. Efrat holds an L.L.B. in law from Ono Academic College and M.A. in government, diplomacy, and strategy from IDC Herzliya. She grew up in the Bayit Vegan neighborhood of Jerusalem.

Boaz Giladi

Boaz Giladi, an educator who has extensive experience in teaching and managing educational systems and currently serves as the general manager of Midreshet Ma’amakim, which operates a network of religious high schools. In addition, he established and continues to volunteer as director of the Metzulot Association, which works to make the world of water sports accessible to youth at risk and special need populations in Israel. In the past, he was engaged in informal education programs in Israel and in the United States, established a school for dropout students in the north, ran elementary and high schools, and served as director of education in the Merom Ha’Galil regional council. Boaz holds a B.A. in Israeli Studies and Archeology with honors from Bar Ilan University, an M.A. in Educational System Administration from Tel Aviv University, and has completed many courses, including a directors’ course. In the Army he served as an officer in the Anti-Terrorism Unit. He is married, a father of four, and lives in Hoshaya.

Doron Zexer

Doron Zektzer, an activist and social entrepreneur who is fighting every day to recover from a severe accident in the desert that occurred in April 2019 and to return to a normal life in a state of complete disability. In the past, he worked in the high-tech field at SAP and then turned to where is heart was, the social sphere. He managed volunteer fundraising campaigns for medical treatments for 20 years using a methodology that he developed, set up a social business venture called The Social Mall, and worked for the Zionism 2000 organization in the management of a social business venture of gardening in the city of Ashdod for formerly ultra-Orthodox youth. He served in the Armored Corps during military service and in 24 years of reserve duty until his injury. Doron holds a degree in computer engineering from the Jordan Valley College. He is married, a father of two children and lives in Kibbutz Hatzor.

Hisham Suleiman

Hisham Suleiman, an actor and creator and the Artistic director of Theatro – Nazareth Fringe Theater Ensemble – a Center for Theater, Culture and Community, Art Director of the Umm Al-Fahm Theater. He is also a lecturer at the Western Galilee College. He has worked in most of the theaters in Israel – Hacameri, Habima, Al-Midan, Nazareth Fringe Theater, the National Palestinian Theater, Algaul. He established the Cultural Laboratory—a fringe theater ensemble in Nazareth—and serves as its artistic director. He established the Yoram Loewenstein Acting School branch in Nazareth and serves as the pre-program artistic director. He also directed and wrote plays as part of the Nazareth Fringe Theater. The play An Unborn Story won him Best Director Award at the Morocco Festival and at the Teatroneto Festival. He played in movies and series such as Fauda, Bethlehem, Life is Not Everything, Wounded Land, His Honor, Munich, Allied, Eilat, Jerusalem Gate, Arab Work, Baghdad Center and others and worked as a group facilitator in community centers and in schools. He is a graduate of Yoram Levinstein Acting School and lives in Nof Hagalil.

Vered Avrahamoff

Vered Avrahamoff, Director of the Early Childhood Department at Emuna – the national religious women’s movement. In her previous position, she managed the pre-primary education department in the city of Be’er Yaakov; and before that, she held a variety of positions in the Education Department of the Lod Municipality, including managing the kindergarten department. In the past, she coordinated the field of film distribution in Israel at go2films, and also coordinated the field of training apartments for graduates of a blind school in Jerusalem. Vered is a member of the religious “Garin Torani” community in Lod and has been a partner in establishing and operating the Shulchan Hashabat project. Vered holds a B.A. in educational counseling and Talmud, and an M.A. in education systems management, both from Orot Israel College. She lives in Lod.

Kholoud Abu Ahmad

Khuloud Abu Ahmad, CEO of the Nazareth Association for Culture and Tourism. Before that, she was founder and CEO of Abraham AlterNarrative – a sustainable alternative tourism initiative to promote shared society, strengthen the local economy and encourage social engagement. In the past, she managed the marketing strategy department at Co-Impact, an initiative for advancing Arab employment; served as a parliamentary advisor to MK Sami Abu Shehadeh from the Joint List; and managed the scholarship project of the Arab Culture Association. Lecturer and facilitator of workshops on identity, young leadership, activism and entrepreneurship. Khuloud is motivated by the desire to advance Arab society in Israel, to advance young Arabs in their studies and employment, out of a genuine partnership among the various communities and diverse groups in Israel. She holds a LL.B. in law from Safed Academic College. Born in Nazareth and lives in Haifa.

Menachem Shapira

Menachem Shapira, the Deputy Mayor of Bnei Brak, heads a municipal department on behalf of the Degel HaTorah party, and is the director of municipal and national elections in the city. As part of his public activities, he manages and accompanies about 100 representatives of Degel HaTorah in 45 local authorities and regional councils, including deputy mayors and council members, formulates coalition agreements, and monitors their implementation. In the past, he served as an advisor to the vice president of Clalit Health Services, a member of the board of directors of the Agudat Israel network of kindergartens, and a member of the city management of Modi’in Illit. In addition, he initiated a non-profit project to provide housing solutions for young couples. He lives in Bnei Brak.
