CoLab & Givat Haviva

CoLab and the Givat Haviva Jewish-Arab Center for Peace jointly initiated and operated the Laboratory for a Shared Society with the aim of promoting social cohesion through joint action.
Givat Haviva is a civic society organization for social change, founded by the Havatzelet group, working to advance a model society in Israel, with an emphasis on creating a shared society for Jews and Arabs; and the Jewish-Arab Center for Peace, operating within it, promotes education for a shared society.
TheLaboratory for a Shared Society is based on a Journey that combines two action axes:
The axis of connecting which Is based on the encounter between the different identities in the group through a group process, inquiry journeys into Israeli society, and giving significant space to the diversity present, while stepping out of comfort zone.
The axis of acting together where participants form connections and partnerships, which are tested and strengthened as fellows learn to work together to form initiatives and impact social good.
Eighteen individuals from all parts of Israeli society participated in the program.
