Yossi Klar, Founder and CEO of MitYatzvim El HaDegel (“Reporting for Duty”), an organization that provides personal, social, and professional support for graduates of the Haredi education system who enlist in IDF general units. Previously, he served as Chief of Staff at BlueGreen Water Technologies; CEO of New Spirit, an NGO working to strengthen Jerusalem’s status as a relevant and attractive city for young people; Co-CEO of Out for Change, an NGO supporting those leaving ultra-Orthodox communities; and Spokesperson of the Hitorerut (“Awakening”) Movement in Jerusalem. He also served as Assistant to the Head of the IDF Haredi Integration Branch in the Manpower Directorate during the repeal of the Tal Law and the subsequent legislative efforts. Yossi has initiated and led numerous social and public ventures, including the TICP Israeli Cartoon Project in the field of public diplomacy, and is the author of the book Masekhet Yetzia (“Story of Leaving”). He holds a bachelor’s degree in Politics and Communication from Hadassah Academic College and studied in Hasidic Haredi yeshivot. Yossi is married to Miriam and lives in Jerusalem.
