Maya Eli, a support peer from experience, that is, with knowledge in dealing with mental crises and recovery processes in mental health gained from life experience. She underwent a series of training programs at Enosh in order to use her life story as a work tool in supporting service recipients and their families, working with teams, and bringing this perspective to organizational processes. Before that, she was a rehabilitation instructor in the Afula Supportive Community and participated in various projects such as moderating peer groups and a Listening from Experience hotline, which she still coordinates today. Before Enosh, Maya was in the fields of management and sales. She recently moved from Afula to Be’er Sheva and is focused on her work in the central and southern regions. She is married to Dudu. She believes in the saying: “Wherever there is a space where bridges can be created, that’s where I want to be.”
