Liron Lavie, Coordinator of an Israeli–Palestinian dialogue program that brings together women from both sides of the conflict, driven by a desire to create meaningful and alternative dialogue aimed at shaping a different reality for all. In her previous role, she served as CEO of “Politically Corret”, an independent media organization working to shape feminist discourse in Israeli media. She began her path as the organization’s Social Media Manager, expanded its target audiences, and founded a bi-national program for training Jewish and Palestinian women journalists, providing them with tools to integrate into the media world. Liron is an activist, editor, and writer for various media outlets, leading projects on gender representation in the media; and works to change public discourse, expose gender and class distortions, and create a more critical, fair, and balanced media space. She lives in Jaffa, originally from Sderot, is the partner of Yael, and the mother of three. She identifies as a lesbian Moroccan feminist woman.
