The goal of the initiative is to provide school principals with space for personal growth using tools from the theater, and to form an educational voice that crosses communities around shared educational challenges. The pilot included five sessions (2020) for ten school principals – Jewish and Arab, religious and secular, from the center and the periphery, in which they combined education, values, and perceptions. The intercultural fabric, the shared experience, and the principals’ responses encouraged its continuation. After October 7th it was converted into an alumni grant for workshops for educators on the topic of connections through theater. Approximately 170 educators from a variety of communities underwent customized workshops.
