The ‘Uniqueness for Cohesion’ seminar was developed based on the CoLab model with the aim of imparting knowledge and skills for building connections between groups in Israeli society. The seminar, intended for students in the Department of Community Social Education at Oranim College, was developed and led by CoLab graduates: Dr. Merav Even-Chen Solomon, who was the coordinator of the leadership track in the Department of Community Social Education at Oranim College, and is currently the head of this department; and Zohar Yonai Dvora. The seminar was held as a three-day active and focused research journey to build connections in Israeli society. As part of the seminar, the students got to know their journey partners through spiritual biographies, planned inquiry journey, drew on articles they had studied, met CoLab graduates who presented activist worlds in various communities in society, and began developing social initiatives. The seminar was delivered as a course to students at Oranim College for five times, between the years 2018-2022.
