Israel Portnoy, social activist. Volunteers at the Ezer Metzyion association in hospitals and with at-risk youth. In the past, he was a project manager in the construction and retail sectors; managed summer camps for children with special needs, and also managed and produced projects for children with Down syndrome on behalf of the Yad al-Halev organization. Israel is a graduate of Yeshivah Pachad Yitzhak in Jerusalem and a graduate of the Amudei Olam kollel in Haifa. Runs marathons as a hobby.
